  • Employees can clock in/out, check status, and submit time off requests. Managers can receive notifications, review and approve requests, and get quick links to detailed reports — all without leaving chat.

  • An organization admin can add the ClockIt app from the respective marketplace directory (Slack App Directory, Microsoft AppSource, or Google Workspace Marketplace). Then, connect your workspace in ClockIt under Settings → Integrations and follow the on‑screen steps.

  • We request only the minimum scopes needed for commands and notifications (e.g., posting messages, slash commands, and basic user identity within your workspace). Access is limited to channels where the app is installed or invited.

  • Integrations are available on paid plans and during the trial. Check the Pricing page for the latest details on plan availability and limits.

  • Yes. Use role‑based permissions in ClockIt to control which users can clock in/out via chat and who can approve requests. You can also scope app access to specific channels and teams.

  • Users and admins can fine‑tune notifications (reminders, approvals, alerts) in ClockIt settings. Many notifications can also be managed via chat commands or per‑channel preferences.

  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. OAuth 2.0 is used for marketplace authentication, and we follow a least‑privilege approach to scopes. Access is audited and can be revoked at any time from your workspace and ClockIt settings.

  • ClockIt supports SSO with Google and Microsoft accounts. The chat apps leverage your workspace authentication, so users sign in with the same identity they use for Slack, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace.
